Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the French bread or baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in short intervals until fully melted, or melt it in a small saucepan over low heat.
Finely mince the garlic cloves using a knife or garlic press and stir them into the melted butter.
Add the olive oil, salt, and finely chopped parsley to the garlic-butter mixture. Stir well to combine.
Using a pastry brush, generously spread the garlic-butter mixture onto one side of each bread slice.
