Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) salmon fillets
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pieces (sliced, for garnish) green onions
  • 1 teaspoon (for garnish) sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and olive oil to create the glaze.

Step 3

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, then season both sides with paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and brush half of the glaze evenly over the tops and sides of the fillets.

Step 5

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Step 6

While the salmon is baking, transfer the remaining glaze to a small saucepan. Heat it over medium heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.

Step 7

Remove the salmon from the oven and brush the thickened glaze over the fillets. Let it rest for 2 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Step 8

Garnish the salmon with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving. Serve immediately with steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad, if desired.
