  • 30 grams parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten, for egg wash)
  • 5 grams fresh basil leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons coarse salt

Directions

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.

Add the cold, cubed unsalted butter into the flour mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to work it in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
