Ingredients

  • 2 racks Pork baby back ribs
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 0.25 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat them dry with paper towels.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and kosher salt.

Step 4

Generously rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring an even coating on both sides.

Step 5

Wrap each rack of ribs in aluminum foil, sealing them tightly to create a pouch. Place them on a baking sheet.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bones slightly.

Step 7

While the ribs bake, prepare the glaze. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, and butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 8

Once the ribs are done baking, remove them from the foil and transfer to a wire rack placed over a baking sheet. Preheat your oven’s broiler or heat your grill to medium-high.

Step 9

Brush the ribs generously with the honey glaze on both sides.

Step 10

Broil or grill the ribs for 3–5 minutes on each side, or until the glaze is caramelized and slightly sticky. Watch closely to avoid burning.

Step 11

Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing into individual pieces. Serve warm and enjoy!
