Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops (or boneless)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
