  • 500 g ground beef (80% lean)
  • 250 g ground pork
  • 120 g shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 units garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • 2 units bell peppers (any color), diced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 unit red onion, diced into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 units wooden or metal skewers

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

Step 2

Divide the meat mixture into 16 even portions. Flatten each portion in your hand, add a small pinch (about 1 tsp) of shredded mozzarella cheese at the center, and wrap the meat mixture around it to form a ball. Ensure the cheese is fully enclosed.

Step 3

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes to prevent burning.
