Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves
  • 2 cups button mushrooms
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
