  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Slice the Italian bread loaf in half lengthwise and place both halves, cut-side up, on a large baking sheet.

Step 3

Brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil, then spread the minced garlic evenly over the surface.

Step 4

Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 5 minutes until lightly toasted. Remove and set aside.

Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and halved cherry tomatoes.

Step 9

Return the bread to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh basil, salt, and black pepper.

Step 11

Slice each bread half into portions and serve warm. Enjoy your Supper on Italian Bread!
