Ingredients

  • 120 grams peanut butter (unsweetened and xylitol-free)
  • 120 grams pumpkin puree (unsweetened)
  • 240 grams rolled oats
  • 1 large egg
  • 200 grams whole wheat flour

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, pumpkin puree, and egg. Mix until smooth and well-combined.

Step 3

Slowly add the rolled oats and whole wheat flour to the wet mixture, stirring until a thick dough forms.

Step 4

Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to about 1 centimeter (1/4 inch) thickness.

Step 5

Use a small cookie cutter (bone shapes are fun!) to cut out the treats, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6

Gather and re-roll the dough scraps as needed until all the dough is used.

Step 7

Bake the treats in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.

Step 8

Allow the treats to cool completely before serving them to your dog. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
