  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (cold, cubed)
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 Egg (large)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Optional: Fresh or dried fruit (blueberries, cranberries, etc.)
  • 2 tablespoons Optional: Turbinado sugar for topping

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
