Ingredients

  • 28 ounces Canned diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 15 ounces Canned black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounces Canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup Chicken broth (low sodium)
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1.5 tablespoons Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream (optional for topping)
  • 0.25 cup Shredded cheddar cheese (optional for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the ground turkey and cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until no longer pink.

Transfer the cooked turkey to a plate and set aside.
