Ingredients

  • 115 grams unsalted butter
  • 200 grams semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 150 grams granulated sugar
  • 100 grams brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 125 grams all-purpose flour
  • 25 grams unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons salt
  • 100 grams semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.

Step 2

In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter and 200 grams of semi-sweet chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Let the mixture cool slightly.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar. Add the melted chocolate mixture and whisk until fully incorporated.

Step 4

Add the eggs one at a time to the sugar and chocolate mixture, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
