Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing mix (any flavor)
  • 2 pieces Large eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 cup Onion (finely chopped, optional)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup (for topping, optional)

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a standard loaf pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Stove Top Stuffing mix and milk. Let the mixture sit for 1-2 minutes to soften.

Step 3

3. Add ground beef, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, finely chopped onion (if using), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.

Step 4

4. Using clean hands, mix the ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing to prevent the meatloaf from becoming tough.

Step 5

5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, pressing it gently to form an even loaf.

Step 6

6. If desired, spread 1/4 cup ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf for a sweet and tangy glaze.

Step 7

7. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) on a meat thermometer.

Step 8

8. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Step 9

9. Serve warm with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, green beans, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
