Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a serrated knife, cut off the top of the round loaf of bread to create a lid. Scoop out the inside of the loaf, leaving a 1-inch thick shell to hold the filling. Set aside the top and the bread pieces you scooped out.
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and buffalo wing sauce, making sure the chicken is evenly coated. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the inside of the bread shell and the underside of the bread lid with the garlic butter mixture.
Begin layering the sandwich: Spread the ranch dressing on the bottom of the bread shell. Add the buffalo chicken as the first layer, followed by the shredded mozzarella cheese, and then the shredded cheddar cheese. Repeat until the bread shell is full, ending with a generous layer of cheese on top.
Place the bread lid back on top of the stuffed loaf. Wrap the entire loaf tightly in aluminum foil to hold it together during baking.
Place the wrapped loaf on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is heated through.
Remove the loaf from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil. Place it back in the oven uncovered for another 5 minutes to allow the top to brown slightly.
Once done, remove from the oven and let the bread cool for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
Slice the sandwich into wedges and serve with celery sticks on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
