Ingredients

  • 1 pound Small cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 2 packets Unflavored gelatin
  • 0.5 cup Cold water
  • 0.5 cup Boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup Finely chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 package Crackers or vegetable sticks (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup of cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

Step 2

Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water over the bloomed gelatin, stirring until fully dissolved. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy and smooth.

Step 4

Add mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.

Step 5

Slowly stir the gelatin mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Continue to mix until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined.

Step 6

Fold in the chopped shrimp and green onions, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Step 7

Lightly grease a decorative mold or bundt pan with nonstick spray or a thin layer of oil to make unmolding easier.

Step 8

Pour the shrimp mixture into the prepared mold, smoothing the top with a spatula to ensure an even surface.

Step 9

Cover the mold with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

Step 10

When ready to serve, carefully unmold the shrimp mold onto a serving platter by briefly dipping the mold in warm water to loosen the edges. Invert onto the platter and gently lift the mold away.

Step 11

Sprinkle with paprika and fresh parsley for garnish, if desired. Serve chilled with crackers or vegetable sticks.
