Cook the chickpea pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
While the pasta cooks, season the shrimp with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and fully cooked. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
