Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried apricots
  • 1 cup Dried figs or prunes
  • 0.5 cup Almonds
  • 0.5 cup Pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar (for coating)

Directions

Step 1

Place the dried apricots and dried figs or prunes in a food processor. Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped and begins to clump together.

Step 2

Add the almonds, pistachios, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and orange zest to the food processor.

Step 3

Pulse again until the mixture is fully combined. It should have a sticky, moldable consistency.

Step 4

Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

Step 5

Place the granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. Roll each sugarplum in the sugar to coat evenly.

Step 6
