Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing the vegetables. Core the cabbage and thinly slice it. Peel the carrot and julienne it into thin strips. Remove seeds from the green bell pepper and slice it into thin strips. Slice the green onions thinly, keeping the white and green parts separate.

Step 2

Peel the ginger and finely grate it. Mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a large wok or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
