  • 1 whole Cinnamon stick
  • 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
  • 5 pieces Whole cloves
  • 5 pieces, crushed Cardamom pods
  • 5 whole Black peppercorns
  • 2 bags Black tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup Ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon, or to taste Stevia

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine water, cinnamon stick, ginger, cloves, cardamom pods, and black peppercorns. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the spices simmer for about 5 minutes to release their flavors.

Step 3

Add the black tea bags to the saucepan and let them steep in the spiced water for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the saucepan from heat and discard the tea bags and whole spices by straining the liquid into a large bowl or pitcher.
