Ingredients

  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2.25 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

In a bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let sit for about 5 minutes or until frothy.

Add olive oil and salt to the yeast mixture.

Gradually add all-purpose flour, one cup at a time, stirring with a wooden spoon until a dough begins to form.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 6-8 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Place the dough into a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
