Ingredients

  • 500 g Broccoli
  • 50 g Desiccated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 0.5 tsp Red Chili Flakes
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Water

Directions

Step 1

Begin by washing the broccoli and cutting it into small florets. Leave them to drain in a colander.

Step 2

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat.

Step 4

Add the chopped garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and slightly golden.

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, stirring well to combine with the garlic.

Step 6

Add 2 tbsp of water to help steam the broccoli. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for approximately 5 minutes, until the broccoli becomes tender but still crisp.

Remove the lid and continue to cook the broccoli uncovered for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until any remaining water evaporates.

Stir in the red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
