Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Flaxseeds
  • 0.25 cup Chia seeds
  • 0.25 cup Pumpkin seeds
  • 0.25 cup Sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine flaxseeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds.

Step 3

Add the warm water to the seed mixture and stir well to combine. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the seeds to absorb the water and expand.

Step 4

Stir in the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until everything is evenly distributed.

Step 5

Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to flatten it out into an even layer, approximately 1/8 inch thick.

Step 6

Score the mixture with a knife to make cracker shapes. This will make it easier to break them apart once they're baked.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then carefully flip the whole sheet of crackers over, and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, until the crackers are dry and crisp.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and allow the crackers to cool completely on the baking sheet before breaking them apart.

Step 9

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
