Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Sugar substitute (such as erythritol)
  • 0.5 cup Sugar-free raspberry jam
  • 4 cups Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

In a small saucepan, warm the milk and butter over medium heat until the butter melts. Remove from heat and allow to cool until lukewarm.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar substitute, and salt.

Add the milk and butter mixture to the dry ingredients along with the vanilla extract and egg. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 1 to 2 hours.
