Ingredients

  • 450 grams canned chickpeas
  • 0.5 cup red onion
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley

  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 burger buns

Directions

Step 1

Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly.

Step 2

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, chopped red onion, parsley, and garlic cloves. Blend until the mixture is roughly mashed.

Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl. Add cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
