Ingredients

  • 500 grams Chicken breast
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 4 units Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 0.5 cup Fresh coriander leaves
  • 0.25 cup Mint leaves
  • 2 units Green chilies
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 8 units Skewers

Directions

Step 1

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces to fit your meat grinder or food processor.

Step 2

Peel and roughly chop the onion, garlic, and ginger.

Step 3

Add the chicken pieces, onion, garlic, ginger, fresh coriander, mint leaves, and green chilies into a meat grinder or food processor. Process until you get a finely ground mixture.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl.

Step 5

Add garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to the chicken mixture. Mix everything thoroughly using your hands for even seasoning.

Add lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of oil to the mixture. Mix again until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Cover the bowl with a cling wrap and refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes. This will help in binding the mixture for easy shaping.
