  • 500 grams Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 100 grams Plain Greek yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 medium Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Cucumber, sliced
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 leaves Lettuce leaves
  • 4 pieces Whole wheat pita bread

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.

Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and thoroughly coat them with the marinade. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to overnight for best flavor.
