Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Chicken drumsticks
  • 2 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 5 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 pieces Shallots, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 200 milliliters Coconut oil
  • 10 leaves Curry leaves

Directions

Step 1

Clean and pat dry the chicken drumsticks with paper towels.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, fennel seeds, ground ginger, minced garlic, minced shallots, salt, and black pepper.

Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and rub them thoroughly with the spice mix until evenly coated. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.
