  • 4 medium Fresh apples
  • 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 cup Water
  • 6 cubes Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

Thoroughly wash the apples under running water to remove any dirt or pesticide residue. Peel the apples if desired, especially if the skins are tough or waxed.

Core the apples and cut them into quarters to easily fit into the juicer or blender. Set aside.

Step 3

Peel the ginger and slice it into smaller pieces to help with blending or juicing.

Add the apples, ginger, and lemon juice into a juicer. Juice until all the liquid is extracted from the fruits and vegetables.

Step 5

If you don't have a juicer, use a blender: add the apples, ginger, lemon juice, and 1 cup of water. Blend on high until smooth.
