Ingredients

  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 0.5 cup Unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Chopped almonds

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir to mix well.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, unsweetened applesauce, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and almond extract until fully combined.

Gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until smooth and no lumps remain.

Fold in the chopped almonds until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
