  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar, packed

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 0.25 tsp salt, and 0.5 cup granulated sugar.

Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut in 1 cup of cold, cubed unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press two-thirds of the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust. Reserve the remaining crumb mixture for the streusel topping.
