  • 240 milliliters Heavy whipping cream (chilled)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0 Strawberries (optional, for garnish)
  • 0 Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Hull and rinse the strawberries. Reserve a few whole strawberries for garnish if desired, and puree the remaining strawberries until smooth using a blender or food processor.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, combine the strawberry puree, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
