  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Cold water
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Step 2

Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into an oval-shaped patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 3

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the patties from the skillet and set them aside.
