In a large stockpot or Dutch oven, combine the water, white wine, Old Bay seasoning, and smashed garlic cloves. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Add the red potatoes to the pot, cover, and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until they just start to soften.
Add the smoked sausage and corn to the pot, layering them on top of the potatoes. Cover the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
