Ingredients

  • 450 grams Beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Carrots (thinly sliced)
  • 1 large Red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks Green onions (sliced for garnish)
  • 4 servings Cooked rice or noodles (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften but remain crisp.

Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir fry for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, honey, water, and the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
