Ingredients

  • 500 grams Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 300 grams Mushrooms (sliced, such as cremini or button)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 stalks Green onions (sliced for garnish)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the stir-fry sauce. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp to the wok, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.

Step 4

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok. Once hot, add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
