Ingredients

  • 1 pound Baby bok choy
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon White pepper (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Thoroughly rinse the bok choy under cold water to remove any dirt. Slice baby bok choy in half lengthwise if small or into quarters if larger.

Step 2

Peel the ginger and finely mince or julienne it. Peel and finely mince the garlic.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, and water. Set aside.

Step 4

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and let it get hot.

Step 5

Add the minced ginger and garlic to the pan, stirring frequently for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.
