Ingredients

  • 500 grams Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 300 grams Green beans, trimmed
  • 4 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons Water
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil (vegetable or canola)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili flakes (optional)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, and sesame oil. Mix well to create the sauce and set aside.

Step 2

Season the thinly sliced beef with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of cooking oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger and stir fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
