Ingredients

  • 400 grams asparagus
  • 250 grams mushrooms (button or cremini)

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Wash the asparagus and trim off the woody ends. Cut the stalks into 2-inch pieces.

Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and slice them into thin strips.

Mince the garlic cloves and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create the stir-fry sauce. Stir well until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
