Ingredients

  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 ounces Fresh green beans
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Start by cutting the chicken breasts into thin, bite-sized strips. Set aside.

Step 2

Trim the green beans and cut them into approximately two-inch pieces.

Step 3

Peel and mince the garlic cloves and ginger root.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 4 tablespoons of water until fully dissolved. This will be the slurry for thickening.

In another bowl, stir together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, and sesame oil. Set this sauce aside for later use.

Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
