Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 200 grams broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well and marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry until it's browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
