Ingredients

  • 1 cup Beef or vegetable stock
  • 0.75 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 ounces Stilton cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon Green peppercorns (in brine), drained and lightly crushed
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.

Add the chopped shallot and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened and translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, until fragrant.
