Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh shrimp
  • 1 unit Lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the shrimp thoroughly under cold water, and if they're not already peeled and deveined, do so, but leave the tails on for easier handling.

Step 2

Slice the lemon in half. Reserve one half for garnish and juice the other half.

Step 3

In a large pot, pour in 1 cup of water. Add the Old Bay seasoning, the juice of half a lemon, and a pinch of salt.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 5

Place a steaming basket inside the pot, making sure it's above the water level. Add the shrimp to the basket.

Step 6

Cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid to keep the steam in.
