Ingredients

  • 12 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb Strip steak
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 3 tbsp A1 steak sauce
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, season the steak on both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Sear the steak in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your preferred level of doneness (125°F for medium-rare, 135°F for medium). Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the steak into thin strips against the grain and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the butter. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 5

Pour in the beef broth and A1 steak sauce. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it reduce slightly, about 3 minutes.

Step 6

Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 7

Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until it melts and incorporates smoothly. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Step 8

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly in the sauce. Add the sliced steak on top and gently toss to distribute.

Step 9

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately, with extra Parmesan cheese on the side if desired.
