Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked steak (leftovers)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 pieces hoagie rolls or sandwich buns
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the leftover steak into bite-sized strips and set aside.

Step 2

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add the steak slices. Heat for 2-3 minutes, tossing occasionally, until warmed through. Remove from heat.
