  • 2 Star fruits (carambola), thinly sliced

  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Whole milk

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan and set aside.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the melted butter and brown sugar for the caramel topping. Stir until smooth and pour the mixture into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
