Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Popcorn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat and add the vegetable oil and 2-3 popcorn kernels to test if the oil is hot enough.

Step 2

Once the test kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels and immediately cover the pot with a lid.

Step 3

Shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning and allow the popcorn to pop. Remove from heat once the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops.

Transfer the popped popcorn to a large mixing bowl, leaving any unpopped kernels behind in the pot.
