Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 12 pieces Mozzarella cheese, cubed into small pieces
  • 12 slices Black olives, sliced
  • 6 Taco shells
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 0.5 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 0.25 cup Sour cream
  • 0.25 cup Salsa

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 3

Divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.

Step 4

Press a small mozzarella cheese cube into the center of each meatball, then form the meat mixture around it to completely enclose the cheese.

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
