  • 500 grams Fresh spinach
  • 225 grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 120 ml Sour cream
  • 150 grams Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 60 grams Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 small Onion, finely diced
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 60 grams Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil (for greasing)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish with olive oil.

Step 2

Rinse the fresh spinach thoroughly, then blanch it in boiling water for about 2 minutes. Drain well, pressing out any excess water, and roughly chop the spinach.

Step 3

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
