Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 large Flour tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and drain the fresh spinach leaves thoroughly.

Step 2

Finely chop the garlic clove.

Step 3

In a medium-sized pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5

Add the spinach leaves to the pan and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and set aside.

Lay one tortilla on a flat surface and evenly sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese on one half of the tortilla.

Spread the cooked spinach evenly over the cheese layer. Top with the remaining cheese.

Fold the tortilla over to close the quesadilla.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
