Ingredients

  • 12 sheets Phyllo dough sheets
  • 6 cups Fresh spinach
  • 1 cup Feta cheese
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dill, chopped (fresh or dried)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
